Getting on the Air Update

Last night our friend Nancy complained that the music quality was bad.  Given where she lives on the Glenn Highway, this was perplexing.  Mike investigated and found a glitch in the computer that manages our playlist.  It was causing the music to be choppy.  He fixed the problem.  If you are tuning in and the sound quality has deteriorated,  let us know, please! We are still troubleshooting and testing the system.
The translator will be connected to the studio via a line-of-sight link. We’ve bought the dishes and plan to install them this weekend.
We’ll be testing the translator coverage in the Palmer area and plan to begin some programming next week.
On Wed. November 9, we will be participating in a nation-wide test of the emergency broadcast system.  We were able to obtain the necessary equipment because of a generous donation from the Mat Valley Federal Credit Union.
